MS Technical Engineer , £mid to late twenties, West Midlands
Our client, a highly regarded and well-established Microsoft centric organisation based in the West Midlands, has a requirement for a motivated Technical Support professional with several years’ relevant experience in Windows Server 2003/2008, Exchange Server, Routers, VPN etc to join their infrastructure team. The role consists of new installations, migrations from older systems as well as individual projects such as remote workers, VPN, mobile devices etc.
Their objective is to continually build longstanding relationships with customers and regular support days are included in support contracts, this will lead to the successful candidate making recommendations and planning upgrades for these customers. The successful candidate will take a prominent role leading projects, and recommending customers in new technologies. Engineers tend to move quite quickly into consultancy roles once they have proven themselves.
